Snowmass Ski Area 19.3 km/12.0 miles
With over 3,100 acres of terrain you can find a bit of everything for any level of skier.  Boasting the highest vertical rise of any ski resort in the country, Snowmass offers 91 trails and 21 chairlifts accessing your choice of cruisers, steeps, glades, off-piste, terrain parks, or halfpipes.

Aspen Highlands Ski Area 4.8 km/3.0 miles
A favorite of the locals over 50 years, Aspen Highlands boasts awe-inspiring views of the surrounding Maroon Bells and an abundance of runs, from novice to expert. For Colorado’s ultimate in-bounds backcountry rush, hike to the 12,392 foot summit of Highland Bowl.

Buttermilk Ski Area 14.5km/3.0 miles
Though now famous as the home of ESPN’s Winter X Games, Buttermilk built its 60-year legacy by catering to beginners and families with wide-open and gently rolling trails. Perfectly groomed slopes, soft powder and glades, a 22-foot superpipe and a first-rate ski/snowboard school make Buttermilk a tourist favorite.

Whether you’re just beginning or looking to hone your black diamond skills, the Ski & Snowboard Schools of Aspen have over 1,300 instructors ready to escort you down the hill.

Need a break from skiing?  Try your hand at clay target shooting on a private shooting range or fly fish a private reserve with Aspen Outfitting.  Excursions are for individuals of all experience levels.  Instruction, transportation, and all necessary equipment included.

This most stately of games is perfectly complimented by the surrounding alpine majesty. Here, golfing opportunities abound, and as the resort is a member of the prestigious Ironbridge Golf Club, guests enjoy exclusive access to this exceptional Arthur Hills-designed masterpiece.

Ironbridge Golf Club
This spectacular golf course is accessible only to guests of St. Regis Resort, Aspen. Designed by Arthur Hills, this unique golfing experience takes you from expansive fairways along rushing rapids to scenic elevated green hundreds of feet above the valley floor. This par 72 course plays 7,224 yards from the professional tees. Soft spikes are required. Complete group tournament services are available. River Valley Ranch Golf Club
Golf course architect, Jay Morrish, has preserved its ranching heritage by carefully sculpting the course, creating challenging play within the valley's natural setting. The course plays at just over 7,300 yards from the championship tees and 6,600 yards from the club tees. The course is as scenic as it is challenging featuring rye grass fairways with bent grass greens. The towering Mount Sopris demands your attention on every hole, and quite possibly, on every shot. Four holes play directly over the Crystal River as it dances through the heart of the course. The course is approximately 35 minutes driving distance from the resort. View Website 

The Aspen Golf & Tennis Club
Offers a challenging 18-hole course set in the heart of the Rockies just minutes from The St. Regis Aspen Resort. Designed by Frank Hummel, with four sets of tees, the course accommodates all levels of play. One of its unmistakable traits is water being featured on almost every hole. The design of the course is an Open Links style. From the back tees, the course measures 7,165 yards, making it known as one of the longest municipal courses in the state. As well as breathtaking scenery, the Aspen Golf Club offers a challenging golf experience.  View Website

The Snowmass Club
Located at the base of Snowmass Mountain. Tee it up on an 18-hole par 72 masterpiece that was completely redesigned by James Engh in 2002/2003. The semi-private club includes an entire redesign, practice facility and club house with a full-service restaurant and bar. James Engh was hired for his uniqueness in design and attention to detail. Five sets of tees offer golfers of all abilities a beautiful and challenging round of golf. The course is 20 minutes away from the hotel and open to non-club members after 12.00 noon only. Lakota Canyon Ranch
Opened for play in May 2004, offering 18 holes of world class golf with stunning views of rugged Western Colorado Canyons. Designed by nationally renowned architect, James Engh, Lakota Canyon provides a rare opportunity to enjoy amazing golf at the doorway of some of Colorado's most breathtaking mountain vistas. Located in New Castle, one hour and 10 minutes away from the Resort, easily accessed right along the I-70 corridor, Lakota Canyon's 7,111-yard layout promises to be enjoyable for all levels of golfers. Maroon Bells  24.1 km/15.0 miles
Among the most photographed peaks in all of North America, the Maroon Bells feature twin 14,000-foot summits rising from an astoundingly beautiful glacial valley that comes alive with fields of wildflowers in the spring. For outdoor lovers, this is a can’t-miss destination. Because Maroon Bells has limited accessibility by car, bus tours run throughout the day during summer months.
